Our Micro Minnie FLX slideout broke during a recent trip. After contacting Winnebago and Lippert, we were informed that Lippert would replace the inverted system with a standard system using a Lippert authorized dealer. This proved to be a problem identifying a dealer who could and would perform the work.Upon contacting Blue Compass RV on Merrill Rd and discussing my issue with Kari, she was able to coordinate the ordering, delivery and... conversion of the inverted to standard system prior to the requested completion date. The technician performed the work without impact to the interior or exterior. Thank you Kari and your technician.Also, I would like to thank Lipper for providing the parts and labor for the conversion. It was a long ordeal, but so far the results are great. Yesterday, my daughter and I went to look at Travel Trailers at Blue Compass RV in Jacksonville FL on Merrill Rd. The man that greeted us and pointed us in the right direction while he went to find us a rep had a great demeanor.Before we got to the travel trailers, we’re joined by a saleswoman named Kelly. Kelly had a very pleasant disposition. She was very knowledgeable in the Jayco that I was most interested in and also a vintage style that... we just wanted to peak in because it was cute! She has genuinely good energy and excellent sales skill with a perfect balance. She delivered the information in a manner that was thorough and not rushed (even though I wasn’t making the purchase that day she still made me feel like a person and not a number). She did ask if I’d like to finance/purchase, if I wanted to see anything else etc. She did not make us feel like we were wasting her time. Ohhh…I almost forgot…she explained this really cool perk that comes with the purchase that actually adds value instead of just random dealer fees like the larger RV dealers have. Call Kelly and ask about it!!Finally, she did some number crunching and provided some details for me to take home. Bought a 25fbtwin Globetrotter about 3 weeks ago. Eran Goldstein was our salesperson. He did a great job working with us. this is our 8th rv. Wish I would have just purchased an Airstream right out of the gate. Took it out for its maiden adventure and everything, so far, is working as it should. Had a 30 foot Flagstaff 5th wheel, which we really enjoyed, however, getting older and not wanting to climb the steps in a fifth wheel, we... wanted to down size. Got about 9 miles per gallon pulling the Flagstaff with my 3500 6.4 litre Ram (gas). However, we got between 13 and 14 miles per gallon pulling the Globetrotter with the same vehicle. Pretty happy about that. There is alot more storage in the Airstream than I expected. So far we are pretty happy. Yes, Airstreams are more expensive, however, from what we have seen so far, well worth it. Rock onread more
